Founding note
Start With the Business Case, Not the Model
A strategy note on choosing a painful, valuable, and measurable first problem.
An AI capability becomes a business only when it solves a problem someone recognizes, values, and is willing to address.
The first market should therefore be narrow enough to understand. Instead of offering “AI for every business,” the team can choose one kind of customer, interview the people doing the work, and identify a repeated problem with a visible cost.
A credible pilot needs clear answers:
- Who experiences the problem?
- How is it handled today?
- What does delay, rework, or inconsistency cost?
- What outcome can be measured without inventing a success story?
- What price and delivery model could support responsible service?
The strategy co-founder will help connect those answers to positioning, pricing, costs, and a focused route to market. Until customer discovery is complete, market size, savings, conversion, and revenue remain questions—not claims.
This is an early founding perspective, not a claim of completed customer work.
